Most of the bus stops in the city have become old and dilapidated, in place of which the Municipal Corporation is now going to build 600 fully equipped bus stops, in which 200 high-tech bus queue shelters will be built in the first phase, which will be equipped with CCTV cameras, GPS system and other facilities. These will be built on the PPP model and in return, apart from the premium amount, the corporation will also get a fee. However, with the decision to remove the BRTS corridor, the process of demolishing the bus stops and others built on it has also been started. Currently, due to the flyover at Niranjanpur and Satyasai Chauraha, BRTS has ended in that part.

More than 50 thousand passengers travel daily in the buses running on the BRTS corridor and recently the Chief Minister has given instructions to remove it. However, the decision of the High Court is yet to come, because petitions are pending in Jabalpur regarding this. The future of BRTS is to be decided only with the permission of the High Court. But due to the construction of flyovers by MPRDC on Niranjanpur Chauraha and Satyasai, the BRTS corridor has ended in this part and now other facilities including bus stops are also being demolished here. Similarly, flyovers are proposed on the intersections from LIG to Navlakha, whose feasibility survey is being done by the authority and in future this part will also not be a part of the BRTS corridor. On the other hand, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava says that we are going to remove 600 passengers from the corridor.

New high-tech bus queue shelters are being built in the city, because now the demand for city buses has increased due to rapid development in 29 villages. Hence new bus shelters will be built in these areas, while the old bus shelters will also be modernized. Right now, in the first phase, it has been decided to build 200 bus queue shelters, the responsibility of which has been handed over to AICTSL. The places have also been selected for this and all these queue shelters will be built on PPP model and the company that will build it will pay the corporation a fixed amount every month in addition to the premium. The design of the shelter construction will also be decided by the Municipal Corporation. Right now city buses are running on many routes in the city. But there are no bus stops there and passengers have to wait standing on the road.
