A major decision has been taken in the meeting of the Board of Directors of Indore Development Authority on Friday. It has been agreed to send a proposal to put the government seal on Ahilya Path. At the same time, in the 8 villages through which the 15 km long Ahilya Path will be planned and on both sides, such lands will also be included whose layout plans have been approved by Town and Country Planning, but development permission has not been taken.
Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh said after the board meeting that there are 40 such projects which have been approved before the in-principle agreement on the plan is reached in the board meeting. Only those projects which have started work on the spot will be freed, permission of all the remaining lands will be canceled and will be included in the scheme. In Scheme 136, IDA will build a high-rise on the lines of Anand Van. This will also be sold through lottery system. Two and three BHK flats will be available in this multi. Collector Ashish Singh, Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma, CEO Ramprakash Ahirwar, Joint Director Dr. Shubhashish Banerjee and other officials were present in the meeting.
Consultant will be decided for the corridor on Kanha
According to CEO Ahirwar, a consultant will be appointed to build a river front on Kanh and Saraswati rivers. Its DPR will be prepared by IDA. After this, the expenditure of DPR will be adjusted in the money that will come from the Central Government Urban Infrastructure Fund when the project is approved. At present the banks of both the rivers are not being used. IDA’s vacant land is lying near the International Swimming Pool built in Pipalyahana. Turf will be made on this land to play hockey. This turf will also be of international level, so that players can also take training of the same level.
Consultant will also be decided for the market in Morod
130 hectares of IDA land is lying in Morod. The grain market has to be shifted here. A consultant will also be appointed to get clearance from the forest department and prepare the DPR. A market is also proposed in Morod in the master plan. Many were present for this. Discussion has already taken place.
