IDA board meeting: Traffic survey will be done in MR-10, Vijay Nagar, scheme on Dhar and Khandwa road

Kumedi ISBT on MR-10, issues like conducting a survey of the frequent traffic jams at MR-4, 12 and Vijay Nagar crossings, bringing housing schemes on Khandwa Road-Dhar Road, building a tennis court near the International Swimming Pool and others were discussed in the IDA board meeting on Wednesday. Several proposals were passed in this. At the same time, a consensus was reached on preparing a proposal of Rs 500 crore for the River Front Corridor and sending it to the government.

Improvement work will be done after the results of the traffic survey are received.

Divisional commissioner Deepak Singh, Collector Ashish Singh, Municipal commissioner Shivam Verma, DFO Pradeep Mishra, CEO Ramprakash Ahirwar, Joint Director of T&CP Dr. Subhashish Banerjee, Chief Engineer of Electricity Company Kameshwar Srivastava and others attended the board meeting.

Work will be done on PPP mode near Meghdoot Garden

  • A cricket club is operating on the vacant ground in front of Dussehra ground. It will be developed as a sports complex. It will be built in the form of a stadium. Apart from cricket, other sports activities can also be conducted.
  • The scheme which will be proposed on Khandwa Road, Dhar Road, will have two more Flats with three bedrooms, hall and kitchen will also be built.
  • Consultant, transaction advisor will be appointed for construction of multi-purpose stadiumfon Super Corridor.
  • 3.83 hectares of land near Meghdoot Garden will be developed on PPP mode. This land of a private group is now owned by IDA.

    Scheme near Outer Ring Road and BypassThe outer ring road is to be built by IDA. There will be a lot of land left in the land that will be acquired for the ring road. There has also been a discussion on developing a housing scheme on this land. Similarly, land will be searched for bringing a scheme in the area between Rau Circle and Tejaji Nagar. IDA does not have a single scheme in these areas.
