For better quality, construction is being done using new technology white topping.

A one and a half kilometer stretch of road in the city is being expanded to six lanes. White-topping technology will be used in its construction, improving the quality of the road and providing relief to the public and vehicles passing through.

The condition of this road is very bad after Rajendra Nagar till Rau Circle due to heavy traffic of vehicles. The most problem remains in the one and a half kilometer stretch of Rau. Due to lack of proper drainage of water on the road, the residents and passing vehicles had to face problems. In the month of December, PWD has started the construction of a six lane road here at a cost of 7 crores. In-charge SDO Tarun Kumar Jain said that the work is being done at a fast pace. This work will be completed in a month.

Currently, white topping is considered the best modern road construction technique. Polyfiber and liquid cement mixers are being used on this 1.5-kilometer, six-lane road. Plant-made calculated cement concrete mixers are also being used. Engineers say this will strengthen the road and ensure it provides smooth passage for heavy-duty vehicles over a long period of time.

The city council will get the drains constructed.

Large drains are to be constructed on both sides of this six-lane road. The Rau Municipal Council has issued a tender for this. Construction of the drains will begin even before the road construction is complete.
