Pithampur Sector-7, Economic Corridor and PM Mitra Park will increase demand
Indore
The Indore region is poised to become a new golden belt for real estate, with three major projects in Indore and Dhar districts. Pithampur Sector 7, the Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor, PM Mitra Park, and other projects poised to transform the real estate sector into a new super-growth zone. The combined impact of these projects is driving demand for land, housing, and commercial properties in Indore, as well as Pithampur, Dhar, Hatod, Sanwer, and surrounding areas.
Boost to housing sector
Experts estimate that, once these projects are fully implemented, 100,000 homes will be needed within a few years. This will directly benefit the real estate, construction, cement, steel, interior, retail, and service sectors. Pithampur Sector 7 is developing as a new industrial housing center, which is also driving demand in the surrounding villages and towns.
PM Mitra: Demand for land will increase
In the second phase of the PM MITRA (Plug and Play Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park, investment proposals worth over ₹8,000 crore have already been received from 21 major companies. These investments require approximately 500 acres of land. These investments will be in textiles, garments, man-made fibers, processing, logistics, and value-addition activities, leading to large-scale employment generation. This will directly impact the workforce by increasing demand for affordable to premium housing and rental properties.
Economic Corridor: Connectivity, a strong base for real estate According to Himanshu Prajapati, Executive Director of MPIDC, the development of the Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor will provide improved road connectivity, faster transportation, and smoother logistics to industrial areas. This facility will not only be limited to industries, but will also promote commercial complexes, warehousing, logistics parks, and transit-oriented development around it.
IT Parks 3-4: Demand for high-end residential and office spaces
These two new IT parks are expected to attract thousands of IT professionals, startups, and tech companies to Indore.
There will be a sharp surge in demand for residential projects, service apartments, co-working spaces, office complexes and retail hubs.
