The Central Assessment Committee on Wednesday approved the new guideline for 469 areas of Indore. This is the first time that the property guideline has been increased for the second time in a year. However, it is not yet decided when it will be implemented. On the other hand, after the objection of Bhopal MP, the matter there has been postponed for the time being.
In the meeting held regarding Indore, a proposal was made to increase the guidelines in 469 locations/areas/colonies out of 5 thousand locations. The Central Evaluation Committee approved it as it is. Due to the objection of Bhopal MP, the date of implementation of the new guidelines could not be decided. In the proposal for Indore district, an increase of up to 10 percent has been proposed in 112 locations, 11 to 20 percent in 190 places, 21 to 30 in 77 areas and more than 31 percent in 90 areas.
There were 26 objections from the public regarding the new proposals. Eight of these have been accepted. The proposed guidelines for two areas have been reduced and the guidelines for one area have been increased further. This time 105 new colonies and townships have also been brought under the purview of the guidelines.

New guidelines may be implemented from November 20 or December 1
Sources say that the new guidelines may be implemented in the rest of the districts of the state except Bhopal on 20 November or 1 December. However, the final decision will now be taken by the state government. Due to the objection of the MP, the decision regarding Bhopal will be taken later.
Earlier in April 2023, property guidelines were extended in 2300 areas of the city. Deputy Inspector General of Registration Balkrishna More attended the meeting from Indore, but he refused to say anything in this regard. According to sources, after the objection of Bhopal MP, this matter has now become completely political. On the other hand, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani says that there should be only reasonable changes in the guidelines. The public’s opinion was also presented before the committee in this regard. If there is a discussion on this in the future, we will definitely present our side.
