Indore: The district police on Wednesday freed government land worth crores of rupees from encroachment in Nipaniya village.
On receiving a report of encroachment on govt land at Khasra No. 31/1, with an area of 43,500 sq ft and registered as ‘Government Urban Ceiling, Collector Ashish Singh ordered an investigation. The inquiry team, led by Juni Indore Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Pradeep Soni and Tehsildar Preeti Bhise, confirmed the illegal occupation of the land.
A joint team comprising officials from Indore Municipal Corporation and revenue
department, under the super-vision of SDM Soni, took ac-administration and removed the encroachment. The reclaimed land, with an estimated value of approximately Rs 50 crore, was secured and returned to govt ownership.

The administration has made it clear that it will continue to take strict action against illegal occupations and will not tolerate any form of encroachment on govt property. This operation is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to protect state as-sets.
