In the reorganization of districts across the state including Indore, Indore has got the highest number of districts.
The point of discussion is Pithampur. The distance of Pithampur from Indore is 28 km, while the district headquarters Dhar is 43 km from Pithampur. Now in the new exercise, if Pithampur is included in Indore district, then the growth figures of Indore in the state will directly increase by 10 to 14%.

If the industry department starts any administrative project, it has to coordinate with two districts. Even for the process of land acquisition, correspondence and permissions have to be taken from the administrations of two districts. Pithampur Sector-7 is an example of this. Here some villages are from Dhar district and some from Indore. In such a situation, due to two districts, there is a lot of confusion in all facilities including electricity and water.

The staff in Dhar is not as strong as in Indore. There is unnecessary delay in getting permissions. Land disputes, encroachment When a project takes place in two districts, the officials postpone it by making excuses of the other district or staff. Being in the same district will fix the responsibility. Investors will not face any problem. On the other hand, encroachment on valuable government land, arbitrary approval of permissions at the Panchayat level will not be possible.
