Traffic on the bridge between Malwa Mill and Patnipura is expected to resume on Dussehra, October 2nd. Meanwhile, pedestrian movement has begun on the bridge. Railings and dividers were installed on Tuesday. Meanwhile, work is underway to connect the road towards Malwa Mill. Slab laying has been completed. The road towards Patnipura has been connected. The Malwa Mill section will also be connected in the next two to three days.

With the construction of this road, drivers going from the central city to Vijayanagar, Meghdoot, Radisson Square, AB Road will be able to reach Rasoma Square directly from Malwa Mill, Patnipura, in front of Anup Talkies. This will reduce the traffic on MG Road and AB Road by 20 to 30 percent. With the construction of the culvert, the frequent traffic jams will also not occur. To improve this road, the police administration will have to remove the encroachments on left and right turns around MR-9 Square Anup Talkies.

Traffic load will reduce from Bhandari Bridge to Pardeshipura

Once this bridge is completed, the traffic load from Bhandari Bridge to Pardeshipura via Kulkarni Bhatta will be reduced. This road has been experiencing heavy traffic pressure since March 2025. In fact, drivers who used to come from Marimata and Pologround, then go directly via Rajkumar Bridge to Malwa Mill and from there to Patnipura, are now going via Bhandari Bridge to Kulkarni Bhatta, then to Pardeshipura and from there to Patnipura.
