The government has agreed that the new city will take shape in 5 thousand hectares, there will be large clusters of land, big developers and investors will be able to come.
The government is now going to prepare the country’s cleanest city Indore on global city standards. Along with the present city, work has been started on the planning of New Indore on the lines of 15 Minute City like Paris, Gift City of Ahmedabad and New Raipur. The government has given in-principle consent to build Ahilya Nagar of 5 thousand hectares between Super Corridor – Ujjain Road and has given green signal to IDA to develop it under the Town Planning Scheme (TPS). Recently, Principal Secretary Neeraj Mandloi had reviewed various proposals in Indore. During this time, the initial concept of development of Ahilya Nagar-New Indore was presented by IDA. Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya agreed to this and asked to start further work.
15 Minute City i.e. Chonkable City, people will be able to go from one place to another on foot
15 Minute City Water Vakil City Concept. In this, facilities will be made in the entire city in such a way that people can move on foot or by bicycle, the dependence on vehicles will be reduced. At present work on this has started in 40 cities including Paris. Similarly, natural heritage, trees, ponds, rivers and drains will also be preserved in the city developed according to the Bean Blue concept. There will be large clusters of land in it, through which big developers and investors will be able to come.
There will be schools, colleges, corporate offices and hotels at one place.
Multi-specialty hospitals, schools-colleges, corporate offices, hotels and recreational centres, sports complexes, cultural and social activity centres, retail markets, shopping malls, general purpose shops.

* Land will be taken through land pooling for basic amenities and roads.
* Will prepare 60 to 70 km of roads as per the master plan. Will develop green areas and common amenity.
* Will create large clusters, which will facilitate construction of markets, institutions and high-rise buildings.
Option on bypass also
Similar possibilities are being seen in the Rau-Kanadia area on the bypass.
Here also this scheme will be made on 2 to 3 thousand hectares. At present three TPS have been prepared in this area, work on which is going on. Therefore, the entire emphasis of the government is now on Super Corridor, Ujjain Road.
