The construction of the two flyovers under construction on the bypass will also be completed by the end of January. Due to the accidents occurring in Bherughat, the Collector also reached there to observe.

Indore.

People travelling from Bhopal to Indore will no longer have to face traffic jams at Bhopal Junction, as a six-lane flyover is being constructed on this state highway, the foundation stone of which was laid yesterday. This 850-meter-long flyover is being built by MPRDC at a cost of 31 kilometers. On the other hand, two of the four flyovers being constructed by the National Highway on Indore bypass have been claimed to be completed by the end of January. Collector Shivam Verma also visited Bherughat yesterday to inspect the site where some accidents took place recently.

Traffic between Indore and Bhopal is continuously increasing.

The MPRDC also collects toll tax on this state highway. Kubereshwar Dham also falls between Indore and Bhopal, where traffic jams occur daily due to religious events. The Bhopal Bypass Junction is also prone to traffic congestion. Traffic will increase in anticipation of the Ujjain Simhastha, as the four-lane road from Dewas-Kshipra to Ujjain has been converted into a national highway. Consequently, a six-lane flyover is now being constructed on the Indore-Bhopal route, which will be built at the Khajuri Junction in the Huzur Assembly constituency. Its groundbreaking ceremony took place yesterday, and construction will be completed before the Simhastha. Huzur Assembly MLA Rameshwar Sharma and Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar were present on the occasion.
On the Indore bypass, the National Highways Authority is constructing flyovers at the MR-10 junction, Arjun Baroda, Ralamandal, and Kanadia Roads. Collector Shivam Verma recently visited the bypass due to the frequent traffic jams and instructed National Highways officials to speed up work and improve the service roads. National Highways claims that the MR-10 and Arjun Baroda flyovers will be completed by the end of January. The Jhalaria flyover, a first-of-its-kind flyover with six junction lanes and a layered structure, is estimated to cost over ₹100 crore. During his rural tour, Collector Shivam Verma also visited Bherughat on Khandwa Road and observed the recent accident.
