Development project • Detail project report will be finalized by June 5, construction tender will be issued by June 25
3 models of startup complex were presented, permission for environment-friendly building, electricity will be generated from solar energy only
The Project Management Consultant (PMC) presented three models of the Startup Complex to be built near the 8-lane bridge on the Super Corridor before the Board of Directors of the Indore Development Authority. One of these models has been finalized. The preparation of the Detail Project Report (DPR) of this completely environment-friendly project has started. After the DPR is finalized by June 5, tenders for construction will be issued at the global level. According to IDA Chairman Jaipal Singh Chavda, Bhoomi Pujan will be done in August. The startup complex is to be built at a cost of Rs 450 crore. This in itself will not be less than a hi-tech village.
The project will be divided into three zones of the startup complex
- Zone-1: There will be 2 buildings, which will be identified as startup parks.
- Zone-2: Convention Center and Five Star Hotel will remain. There will be two blocks in this zone. The convention center will be built right in front of the hotel.
- Zone-3: IT building and shopping complex will be built in this. The shopping complex will remain like a shopping mall, in which big brands of the country and the world will be brought. Each block will also have its own separate parking. The parking capacity will also be such that no haphazard parking will be seen outside.
The building will be operated by the solar system
All the blocks will be completely operated from the solar system. The walls will also be such that as soon as sunlight falls on them, electricity will start to form. The level ahead of the green building concept will be constructed in this project. Nowhere in Central India is such a big project for a startup. IDA had also taken advice from successful startups in the city to finalize its design.
There will also be an incubation center
An incubation center will also be set up in this project. The project will take 5 to 6 years to complete. At present, there is an incubation center in Scheme 140, Anandvan. It will be starting in June. IDA has made preparations to issue a tender for its operation. It will be operated on the lines of no profit no loss. 2.75 crores have been spent on this project.
