Indore-Manmad 309 km railway line will pass through 6 districts of two states. Madhya Pradesh will have the largest share in this. Trains will be run on electric engines on this route. A big 1 km long bridge will be built
The Railway Minister said that on this route only a one km long bridge will be built on the Narmada River. This will probably be the longest bridge in the state. About 50 lakh passengers will be able to travel on this route every year. 4 MEMU and 2 mail and express trains will be able to run from both sides. 29 lakh people will be connected to rail connectivity for the first time.
30 goods trains will run: onion and chilli business will increase
The Railway Minister asked for cooperation from the state government to complete the project at a faster pace. On this, the Chief Minister issued orders from the stage and formed a task force. This task force of state officers along with railway officers will help in completing this project within the time limit. 30 goods trains will run daily. Through these, approximately 25 metric tons of goods can be transported every year. 35 flyovers and 62 underpasses will also be built. There will be direct connectivity from onion hubs Nashik, Dhule and Nandurbar to chilli, jowar (and maize) hub Barwani.
