River Front Project •DPR of 510 crores sent, canal will be improved from Bhandara to MR-10.

A plan of Rs 510 crore has been sent to the government in the form of a detailed project report to beautify the banks of the 19.385 km long Kanha and Saraswati rivers. Boundary wall, fountain, parking, landscaping, horticulture, haat bazaar, foot over bridge, path-way, toilet, road side canopy, wall painting etc. will be done on the banks of the rivers. What work is to be done in which part of the banks of both the rivers has been planned in a phased manner.
River front has been started from Nahar Bhandara which will cover the stretch upto MR-10.
According to Authority CEO Ramprakash Ahirwar, the DPR of the River Front has to be sent to the government after getting approval from the Authority Board. It will be sent to the Urban Development Ministry by the state government. A presentation will also be given on how the project of more than 19 km will be implemented in Delhi.
what work will be done in which part
- Saraswati River 0 to 300 meter Foot Over Bridge, Parking, Fountain, Road Side Canopy.
- Foot over bridge, parking, path-way, road side canopy also in the 1.44 km stretch.
- Haat bazaar, two foot over bridges, toilet, garden in 5.28 km stretch.
- 4 km portion will be developed by the Municipal Corporation under Smart City Project.
- Garden parking, market, pathway and fountain will also be constructed in the 6km stretch of Kanh river.
The road has just been built along the river
The Municipal Corporation has built a road connecting Jawahar Marg to Chandrabhaga on the banks of the Kanh River. Work is to be done to extend it to Paganispaga. The corporation has built a garden etc. in the section from Jawahar Marg to MG Road, but people are unable to reach there due to the poor access road. 11 contractors of sports complex
A multipurpose sports complex was proposed on the Super Corridor. Activities like football, hockey, badminton, cricket, running will take place.
11 firms have shown interest in making it.
It is to be built at 5 star level. 22 acres of land has been reserved for it on the Super Corridor. 1 thousand crore rupees will be spent in building it. Just like in the Olympics, a many activities are conducted in the stadium, it will be built on the same level. A gallery will be built to accommodate more than 50 thousand people.
