After the report from Lucknow, the process will now move forward

The corporation’s preparations for starting the commercial run of the metro are almost complete. Railway’s Research, Design and Standards Organization (RDSO) Lucknow has also submitted the inspection report. Now in the first week of January, Commissioner Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) will test the track and decide the time of operation.

Let us tell you, the corporation had claimed to start commercial runs from December. At present, it will start only from January. The priority corridor on the super corridor is to start from Gandhi Nagar to TCS square. For this, five stations, tracks, depots, operation centers are almost ready. Metro trials have also been done several times. Recently, the safety report of the metro coach has also been received from RDSO Lucknow.

Work is underway on the Metro’s priority corridor, i.e. the stations between Gandhi Nagar and TCS Square.

Preparations will be reviewed today

According to the officers, now they are waiting for the team of CMRS. They will inspect and decide the date soon. Meanwhile, MD of the corporation S. Krishna Chaitanya will review the preparations on Saturday and discuss with the vendor.
