Indore–Pithampur Economic Corridor will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Sunday at 12 noon. This corridor is approximately 20.28 km long and will be fully developed as an industrial zone. It will also include banking, finance, and insurance hubs.

In the first phase, a 14.8 km, 75-meter-wide road will be constructed. The total project cost is estimated at ₹2160 crore. In the initial stage, land acquisition and road construction will be carried out.

The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) will require land for industrial development. Currently, consent has been received from only 40% of landowners, making private land acquisition a major challenge.
