Indore Special Correspondent. The work of Shri Lane Bridge to be built at Bada Ganpati Square can start this week.

The paperwork in IDA has been completed. However, uncertainty remains over the three-lane bridge at Marimaata Square.

The tender of a Mhow based company has been approved for the Bada Ganpati Bridge. This is the same company which is also building a bridge at Aurobindo Square. The soil testing process can begin this week. Earlier, the process had to be done again after two companies raised objections on some points of the tender conditions of this bridge. The IDA has resolved the objections and removed all the obstacles.

will be built from Jinsi Main Road towards Gangwal Bus Stand. The intersection will be free from traffic jam: Currently Bada Ganpati intersection But the traffic from Jinsi, Gangwal, MG Road and Airport Road gets entangled, the maximum traffic is on Jinsi-Gangwal Road, that is why this direction of the bridge has been decided. After its construction, the traffic going from Jinsi towards Gangwal Bus Stand, Dhar Road, Mahu Naka, Collectorate, Raj Mohalla, Jawahar Marg will pass over the bridge. The traffic going from MG Road, Malharganj towards the airport will pass under the bridge or through the service road.
