Recently, the Chief Minister visited the ISBT built by the authority at Kumerdi MR-10, which will be operational from December. The bus terminal of Naitamundla was started recently and other buses including AICTSL are operating. Now the collector has given instructions to build new bus stands at other places including Dhar Road and MR-10 in the time limit meeting yesterday and has also asked to select suitable sites i.e. land for this. Along with this, he has also asked to organize special camps in tehsil offices regarding the lease to be given under tenure in 29 villages.
The work of the inter-state bus terminal is in its final stages. The work of this terminal will be completed soon. It will be started from the month of December. Also, applications for lease will be taken from the citizens living in the settlements of the villages included in the Indore Municipal Corporation limits.
Special camps will be organized in tehsil offices on September 29. Collector Shri Ashish Singh has appealed to the citizens of 29 villages and other villages whose population is included in the Indore Municipal Corporation boundary area to reach the tehsil offices on September 29 and apply for getting a lease under land tenure. Biometric machines will be installed compulsorily for the attendance of government servants in all government offices including all gram panchayats. The salary due in the month of November for October will be received on the basis of attendance in the biometric machine. The review meeting was concluded. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Shivam Verma, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Siddharth Jain, Smart City CEO Mr. Divyank Singh, Additional Collector Mrs. Jyoti Sharma, Mr. Gaurav Benal, Mr. Roshan Rai, Mr. Rajendra Singh Raghuvanshi, Mrs. Nisha Damor, Indore Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Mr. RP Ahirwar and others were present.
Officers were present. In the meeting, Collector Mr. Ashish Singh informed that a sub-committee has been formed regarding the operation of buses from the inter-state bus terminal. This committee will work under the guidance of CEO of AICTSL Mr. Divyank Singh. This sub-committee will decide which areas’ buses should be operated from this bus terminal. In the meeting, Collector Mr. Ashish Singh instructed the officers to find out the possibilities of building new bus stands at other places including Dhar Road and MR 10 of the city and select the location.
