Bengaluru: EPIC Designers, a sustainable fashion company based in Hong Kong, has recently ac quired 40 acres of land to set up ita manufacturing unit in Bhubanes war, Odisha, valued at around 220 crore.
The proposed manufacturing unit will come up at the IDCO Industrial Estate and aims to sup port the company’s future business expansion and serve global brands from India.
“The facility managed by EPIC Group’s subsidiary Trimetro Garments India, is benchmarked against global standards and the cutting-edge facilities the company boasts worldwide. The first phase spanning 338,000 square feet is expected to be completed by May 2025, and the future expansion scope spans 381,236 square feet,” said Indranil Basu, managing director of project management, Colliers India, who has been appointed to design and build the turn- key project.
The proposed garment factory will be the first of its kind for the apparel industry in India, focu- sing on sourcing sustainable ma- terials, minimising waste, and curbing its carbon footprint. The company intends to employ over 6,000 people to run the facility
DLF Arm Raises ₹600 cr Via NCDs
NEW DELHI DLF is raising ₹600 crore through issue of non- convertible debentures (NCDs) to investors for refinancing of its existing debts. In a filing on Wednesday, DLF Informed that the company’s wholly owned subsidiary DLF Home Develo- pers has raised this amount.
The Securities Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of DHDL has approved the allotment of 60,000 NCDS.
