During the Metro works, green belts were removed from Robot to ISBT and center dividers were broken, for which the Metro project had to pay a sum of 10 crores to the Municipal Corporation

Now new dividers are being made with the same amount

A cheque of Rs. 10000 was given recently. Now on the basis of the same amount, the Municipal Corporation is getting new centre dividers made in the said areas. Most of their work has been completed. Now preparations are on for their decoration. From attractive plants to lighting will be installed between the dividers and the best dividers of the city will be made here.

Today afternoon, operators of different firms constructing center dividers at Bapat Square have been called so that the condition of dividers can be seen by inspecting that area with the corporation officials and decisions can be taken on the spot regarding the work to be done there. New attractive center dividers are being constructed by the Municipal Corporation from Robot Square to ISBT with the help of different firms and most of the work has been completed. Recently, attractive center dividers were constructed by the Municipal Corporation near Nakshatra Garden, which were the best till date and now

There are preparations to make even better dividers. Where the work has been completed, work ranging from plantation in the middle of the dividers to attractive electrical decorations will be started there. Corporation officials say that along with the dividers, plants and electrical decorations will be done with the amount of 10 crores and if the amount falls short, the corporation will provide it from its own side. During the inspection today, officials of the garden department have also been called there. So that there will be a discussion on what type of plants should be planted at what height in the dividers and there are preparations to complete all the work in a span of one to two months.

Preparations are also being made to give the maintenance of dividers on contract

The corporation has been making better dividers at many places in the city so far, but due to lack of maintenance the situation has been getting worse. Due to this, this time the corporation is making a special plan for the center dividers and in the first phase, along with decorating the dividers, there is a preparation to give the responsibility of maintenance of the work done there to the concerned firm. If the concerned firm does not take the maintenance contract, then the corporation will issue a fresh tender for maintenance.
