The problems of Pologround Industrial Area are pending for a long time and industrial organizations have demanded this many times. Yesterday once again the representatives of industrial organizations discussed with the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner, in which assurance was given to solve other problems including road widening, revenue and license camps, laying a new line of Narmada, development of greenery. Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, Commissioner Shivam Verma, Additional Commissioner Abhilash Mishra along with Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh President Yogesh Mehta, Secretary Tarun Vyas, Pramod Dafaria and other representatives were present in this meeting held at the City Bus Office.
Corporation officials Abhay Rajangaonkar, Narendranath Pandey, Deputy Commissioner Lata Agarwal, Superintendent Engineer DR Lodhi and others were present in the meeting. Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and Commissioner Shivam Verma discussed the development of the area with the traders of Pologround Industrial Area. During the discussion, the traders demanded additional resources and employees for cleaning the area as well as lifting green waste and requested for early completion of the construction work being done for proper development of the garden of Pologround area. Along with this, on the demand of not updating the property tax portal in the industrial area and setting up a camp for license fees, Mayor Bhargava directed the concerned officer to set up a special revenue camp and license camp in the Pologround Industrial Area. Along with this, the route for entering Sector A from Sector B in Pologround Industrial Area goes towards Agarbatti Complex. Traffic is affected due to the reduced width around the railway crossing there. Along with widening the said road, the road construction work should be completed soon. For the convenience of industries on Sanwer Road, fire brigade should be operated with the help of the corporation.
Discussions were held regarding maintenance of the station, building dense forest with the help of industry for greenery development in the industrial area, laying new Narmada drinking water line in the industrial area, increasing the capacity of ETP plant and use of treated water. In this regard, the Mayor and Commissioner gave directions to the concerned officials to provide treated water to the organization at a fixed rate for use, organizing special camps in the industrial area for settlement of property tax and other taxes, giving garbage segregation tax to the corporation by the representatives of industrial organizations, laying a line for connection in the tank for supply of drinking water to the water tank built in the Polo Ground area, etc. On the other hand, a meeting was also held with the representatives of Clean Air Catalyst Project USAID in the City Bus Office itself, in which Mayor-Ayuk and other officials were present. Also, Clean Air Catalyst (CAC) project is necessary to ensure that the public is engaged in efforts to reduce pollution, especially how the use of public transport can be promoted continuously.
