Traffic plan handed over to police-administration

Now public representatives will discuss with the villagers about the final form

To start the work fast, a traffic diversion plan has been prepared and handed over to the traffic police. Now the people’s representatives will finalize the plan after discussing with the villagers and then work will start on the diverted route.

These flyovers are to be built between Jhalaria to MR-10 Junction of Bypass, Ralamandal and Arjun Baroda Junction. All the three flyovers were tendered in 2022 itself and since then people are preparing to start their work. Till now, no special work had been done except barricading at some places and other small preparations, but now the movement has intensified regarding all the three flyovers.

Lalwani said that a meeting has been held recently regarding the big bridges to be constructed in the city. NHAI has sent the traffic diversion plan of all the three flyovers to be built on Indore Bypass and Dewas Road to the traffic police. Now, after discussing with the villagers, we will try to finalize the plan this month with their consent, so that the work can start as soon as possible.

 If the minister is unable to come to Indore, then Bhoomipujan will be done virtually

 The MP said that all three are trying to bring Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for the Bhumi Pujan of the flyover. If they could not come to Indore, they would get the work started by getting them to do Bhoomipujan virtually.
