IDA Board Meeting • In Scheme 97-Part 4 City Forest, a 4-5 acre park will be built for the extinct species from the forests from Malwa Mill to Rasoma.

here are plans to build an elevated corridor from Malwa Mill to Rasoma Square via Patnaipura Square. A consultant will soon be appointed for this and a feasibility survey will be conducted.

This decision was taken in the meeting of the Board of Directors of Indore Development Authority on Wednesday. In the City Forest to be built in Scheme 97-Part 4, a park of 4-5 acres of species that have become extinct from the forests will be built, so that people can see which species used to exist in the forests earlier. Divisional Commissioner and Chairman Deepak Singh, Collector Ashish Singh, Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma, CEO Ramprakash Ahirwar, DFO Virendra Patel, Assistant Director of T&CP Sarang Gupta and other officers were present in the board meeting.

Benefit: Vijay Nagar will be directly connected to the central area, BRTS traffic load will be reduced

1. Construction of the elevated corridor will ease the traffic coming from the central area (Rajwada, MG Road) towards Vijay Nagar.

2. Currently, the traffic of the central area comes via MG Road, BRTS or Malwa Mill Patnaipura. Once the elevated corridor is built, the traffic coming from the central area (MG Road) will reach Vijay Nagar Square directly via Lantern Square.

3. The traffic coming from Marimaata and Jail Road will also get relief.

1. If instead of taking this corridor down before Rasoma Square, it is taken across the square and then to Rasima Square and the link road of Ring Road, then the traffic on BRTS will also get relief.

There is a jam every day from Malwa Mill to Patnaipura, Rasoma.

Hotel, restaurant in convention centre of scheme 172

* Mehta & Associates was appointed as consultant for the Startup Park. The firm showed the revised design of the Startup Park to the members in the meeting. It will be operated on the PPP model. Now tenders will be issued for its construction. The members were told about how IDA will get revenue after construction, what will be the share of IDA, how will the hotel, mall, multiplex, residential area be.

* The consultant also gave a presentation about the convention center to be built in Scheme No. 172. Here too, other facilities including hotel, restaurant, auditorium with a capacity of 10 thousand will be arranged.

* IDA had appointed a transaction advisor for the senior citizen complex built in scheme number 134. The advisor has prepared a report on maintenance, operation and other aspects of this sensitive project and has given it to IDA. This will also be placed in the meeting. Now a tender will be issued for operation.

* The advisor has also prepared a report on how Kumedi ISBT should be operated. It was decided that established brands will be brought to the shops of ISBT.
