The time for claims and objections for the guidelines which are going to be extended for the second time in the financial year in the district, ended on Monday. 105 new colonies are also included in the new rate hike proposed for a total of 469 location colonies. According to the Registration Department, a total of 25 objections have been received. After resolving the objections on Tuesday, the proposal will be sent to the Central Evaluation Committee by evening. It will be finalized in the meeting of the Central Evaluation Committee in Bhopal on November 6. Senior District Registrar Dr. Amresh Naidu said that suggestions for rate hike have also come in some rural areas.

After deliberation on all the proposals on Tuesday, the proposal will be finalized on the instructions of Collector Ashish Singh. It is noteworthy that there are 5 thousand locations in the district, out of which more than 2300 were increased in April. This time an increase of up to 10% has been proposed in 112 locations, 11 to 20% in 190, 21 to 30% in 77 areas and more than 31% increase has been proposed in 77 areas.

25 objections, some demand to increase the rate and some demand to reduce it

Advocate Devi Prasad Sharma suggested that Bhagirathpura area is very backward. The guideline should not be increased here. Bhupesh Sanghvi demanded not to increase the guideline in Shrinath Ji Vihar Colony in Bichauli Hapsi. Sameer Parekh suggested to include Shubh-Labh Aashiyana of Mhow in the guideline. Advocate Pankaj Jaiswal demanded to include New Harsiddhi Nagar Colony at par with Tapeshwari Bagh.

Rates are already high, public will be burdened: Congress

Advocate and Congress spokesperson Pramod Dwivedi has also raised objections to this. The advocate said that the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh is increasing the real estate guidelines for the second time in a year. The land rates in Indore are already skyrocketing. This new increase will put a burden on the public.
