Drivers going towards Jawahar Marg get stuck in a jam on the narrow road.

The Municipal Corporation has done many experiments so far to reduce the traffic pressure on Jawahar Marg and for this a road connecting Sanjay Setu to Chandrabhaga was also built. Now an 80 feet wide road will be built from Nandlalpura crossing to Gautampura. At present the width of the road is less in many parts there.
More than 200 obstructions will be broken the Nagar Nigam first started the work of the first phase of the road from Krishnapura Chhatri to Nandlalpura Chauraha and after building this road, now in the second phase, tenders have been issued for building the road from Nandlalpura Chauraha to Gautampura. An 80 feet wide road will be built at a cost of more than 2 crores and it will be 450 meters long. According to the Executive Engineer of the project, DR Lodhi, at present the road is narrow at many places and for this the road will not be made as per the standard of 80 feet. At present, the width of the road has increased to 100 meters at many places.
It is only between 40 to 50 feet, due to which every day the drivers from both sides get stuck in traffic jam in the said area. After the construction of this wide road, the traffic pressure on Jawahar Marg will reduce to a great extent, because the road going to Pandharinath from Aada Bazaar is very narrow. On the other hand, there is a lot of traffic pressure on the road going to Machhi Bazaar from Yashwant Road. There is a daily traffic jam due to the occupation of e-rickshaws and other public transport vehicles in the areas around the Gurudwara.
The road from Gautampura to Pandharinath is jammed several times during the day
There is a traffic jam several times a day in the blanket lane going from Gautampura to Pandharinath, because many drivers come on the wrong side from Pandharinath to Gautampura and due to vehicles coming from both sides in the narrow lane, there is a traffic jam. This road is very narrow and due to increased traffic pressure, the condition is getting worse there. On the other hand, there is a crowd of people buying blankets throughout the day.
According to the officers, there are parts of years old houses on both sides of the road. Earlier, a team of officers had inspected the area and during this time, the condition of the road width was seen at many places and as per that, parts of more than 200 houses and shops are obstructing the road, which will be marked in the coming days and the residents will be asked to remove them themselves.
