The state’s first transport corridor is going to be built in Indore.

In terms of passenger facilities, this corridor being built will start from Sarvate Bus Stand and end at ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal) in Kumedi. The most important thing is that this corridor will have two big bus stands along with three railway stations and a metro station. The 6.5 km corridor will not only provide convenience to the passengers but will also provide relief from traffic jams in BRTS, Madhya and Mukhalia-Vijayanagar areas.

IDA is working on the first phase of this corridor, the second phase will be from Sarwate Bus Stand to ISWT of Nayata Mundla, which is likely to start next year. This corridor will also help in the operation of inter-state and intercity buses. This will be the first vadicated transport road.

Benefit: The distance from Rajbada and Regal to MR-10 will be reduced

The distance from the railway station and Sarvate to Kumedhi will be only 6.5 km.

Super corridor of Rajbazar, Rimal, Palasia will be a new link for MR 10.

* Connectivity with central city or western Indore will become easier.

* MR-10 metro station will be connected to Midha. The journey will be easier.

Apart from this, the main railway station, Nehru Park Road Railway Station and Laxmibai Nagar Railway Station will also come on this. Where this road meets in Kumedi, there is a metro station. This will increase connectivity between the city centre and the outer parts.
