After the completion of the six-lane flyover at Ralamandal, traffic movement on the bypass has become smoother. Now, on the 60-kilometer stretch between Shipa and Rau, congestion remains only at the MR-10 junction where flyover construction is still ongoing. Around 20–30% of the work has been completed. Officials claim that traffic movement may begin within 45–50 days, although starting traffic before the rainy season appears difficult. Once completed, nearly two lakh people will benefit daily.
Traffic Started Again After Three Months
The Ralamandal flyover built by NHAI had partially opened for traffic in February. However, due to incomplete work in several sections and issues with service roads, it became risky for commuters. The project, originally expected to take one year, was finally completed after nearly three years. The flyover was inaugurated by MP Shankar Lalwani and MLA Madhu Verma.
More Than Two Dozen Townships and 8–10 Tourist Spots to Benefit
With the Ralamandal flyover becoming operational, residents of more than two dozen townships in the bypass area will benefit. The region includes tourist attractions such as Choral, Tincha Falls, Mohadi Falls, Bilawali Lake, Bilawali Khurd, and Kasturba Gram. Tourist footfall increases significantly during holidays, and this bridge will improve accessibility. Traffic congestion and accident risks in the area are also expected to reduce.
