The work of the 900 meter long and 104 feet wide road being built from Annapurna Road to Phuti Kothi will be completed in two months. At present, concrete work is going on on the main carriageway. This work will continue for a week. After this, median and green belt will be prepared. More than 30 colonies will benefit from the construction of this road. Along with this, the traffic pressure on Annapurna Road and Ring Road will also be reduced.
On Tuesday, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and MLA Malini Gaud inspected the road under construction. Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma, Public Works Incharge Rajendra Rathore, all the councillors of Vidhan Sabha area 4 and a large number of local citizens were present. Officials said that other works including the main carriageway will be completed in the next two months. During the inspection, it was also discussed how it can be connected to Sant Sewalal Setu. A cut will be made from the side so that there is no possibility of an accident. The Mayor said that this is an important road of the western region. Its work will be completed in two months.

This will increase the width of the road by 40 feet. Nearly 15 trees have been shifted near the Annapurna temple. Drainage lines and storm water lines will also be laid. Storm water lines will be laid on the service road.

There are 45 trees on this road, which will have to be shifted. The corporation has made preparations for this as well. These include big Peepal trees as well.
