Minister Vijayvargiya said – middle class will get relief
• Deemed permission will be issued as soon as the map is submitted.
Bhaskar News Bhopal/Indore. Now building permission will not be required to build a house up to 2000 square feet in the state. Deemed permission will be issued after payment of fee and submission of map as per the prescribed criteria. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that this will provide great relief to middle class families. At present, there is no need to take permission for houses up to 1000 square feet in the state. If this facility is started on plots up to 2000 square feet, 70% of the work of the building permission branch of the Municipal Corporation will be finished.
Every year 6200 maps are produced in Indore, 70% of which are of this size.
Every month more than 500 maps come for approval in Indore, out of which 70 percent are of 2000 square feet. Now there will be no need to wait for approval on plot maps up to this size. This system will be applicable to the entire urban area, although there have been changes in map fees and rules in the smart city area, so it will take some time to implement it there.
