Length of Route 1 is 6.25 km and Length of Route 2 is 6.83 km.
Taking the cable car project forward in the city, the IDA board of directors has decided that a detailed survey will be conducted on two routes in January. The first route will be from Chandan Nagar to Rajmohalla, Jawahar Marg, in front of MY Hospital to Shivaji Vatika and the second route will be to Vijay Nagar via Railway Station, Malwa Mill Square, Patnaipura, Bhamauri. The first route has been named Green Line and the second route has been named Grey Line. The reason behind starting with these two routes is that these areas are the busiest areas. Another decision taken in the meeting is related to the construction of 5 or more flyovers on the 11.5 km long BRTS.
It was decided that a Delhi firm will prepare a report on which crossings in this part of AB Road (BRTS) would be beneficial to build flyovers. The feasibility survey on BRTS will start in 15 days. The work on the bridge at Satya Sai crossing has started. The bridge at Bhanwarkuan crossing has been built. The bridge will be surveyed at LIG, Industry House, Palasia, Geeta Bhawan, Shivaji Vatika, GPO and Shivaji Vatika crossing. Divisional commissioner Deepak Singh, collector Ashish Singh, corporation commissioner Shivam Verma, CEO Ramprakash Ahirwar, assistant director of T&PC Sarang Gupta were present in the meeting of the board of directors.
Drainage, road, street light, garden will be made in Scheme 97 Part 4
The Supreme Court had given its verdict in favour of IDA a few months back.
In Scheme 97 Part 4, the owner of 80 hectares of land was told to be IDA. IDA had completed the demarcation of this scheme. Now this land will be developed by spending Rs 325 crore. Drainage, road, street light, water line, garden will be made. Regional park will also be made here on more than 16 hectares of land. Residential plotting will also be done here.
Kumedi ISBT will start functioning this month
The IT complex built in Kumedi is to be inaugurated this month. Two agencies will be selected for this. One agency will help in finding a firm to operate the ISBT. Many shops have also been built here. It will help in bringing big level brands here. Since the building has been built on the lines of an airport, the contract for operation will be given to a big group.
