Big work completed; survey of 730 acres of land was going on for 4 years
The survey process for the residential area which has been going on for 4 years is now going to be completed. After the survey, the district administration has prepared a draft to include this area in the revenue survey. The administration is going to publish its draft by 15 November. After the publication of the draft, claims and objections will be invited within a time limit of 15 days.
Collector Ashish Singh said that the survey work in the Residency area has been completed. The deadline for publishing the notification is November 15. The survey exercise for this area started in the year 2021. The argument was that the area is still unsurveyed. Who owns which land is also not decided. Two types of surveys were conducted to give ownership rights of the land and clarify the ownership rights. First there was a drone survey, then the door-to-door administration team had asked for documents related to the rights of the land. Before the Residency area survey, it was being said in the documents that it was 1030 acres.

Documents of each property were checked
It was also checked which property is in whose name and how correct are its documents. However, there are some other areas including Azad Nagar and Shukla Nagar area, for which the documents were not available. After the final publication of the draft, the residents living here will not only get the rights to the land, but those residents who could not provide the documents will also be given the rights. There are many famous colonies in this area, which include Dhar Kothi, Ratlam Kothi, Radio Colony and White Church, along with many historical buildings. Sources say that once the process is completed, the government will also be able to get information about many of its large lands.
