Movement on AB Road will be smooth as soon as traffic resumes

The work on the flyover being built on the Rau Circle is about to be completed. NHAI claims that the flyover will be opened for traffic by December 31. Preparations for this are going on in full swing and the asphalting of the approach road is also going on at a fast pace. The Rau to Dewas section has been asphalted. Now the 3 lane section from Dewas to Rau will be asphalted.

Project work approximately one and a half the year is getting delayed. The flyover at Rau Circle was approved in January 2022. After that, work started on the site in June 2022.

The earliest deadline for completion of the work was September 2023.

16 months have passed since then. It may take about one more month to complete the work. How much penalty will be imposed on the contractor company for this delay will be decided by the competent authority. The bridge work is being done by Vindhya Construction Company of Rewa.

More projects will be completed in 2025

There are 3 more flyovers of NHAI on the bypass, which are going to be completed in 2025. In this, 3 lanes on one side of Ralamandal and Arjun Barod are expected to start in March 2025. At the same time, 3 lanes on the other side will be completed in August 2025. Around the same time, the project of Shri Layer flyover and underpass being built at MR-10 junction will also be completed.
