Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took a big decision for Indore on Sunday. He cancelled the proposed elevated corridor on BRTS. Instead, 10 flyovers and underpasses will be built on AB Road. A metropolitan authority will be formed by combining Indore-Ubbain, Dewas-Dhar. Metro will run between Indore-Ubbain before Simhastha. Along with this, the CM has also given instructions to make a signal pre-route from Bhanwarkuan to Vijay Nagar.
After the review meeting at Brilliant Convention Center, CM said, the government is taking initiative to work on the constitution of free technology. Studies are going on on the possibilities of overall development around Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur. The feedback about Indore-Ujjain is good
Therefore, we are forming Indore Metropolitan Region (IR). The draft will be prepared and an authority will be formed. We will proceed further after testing with metropolitan experts. He said that instead of making an elevated corridor on AB Road, alternatives of flyovers should be prepared at different intersections.
