The work of Shree Layer flyover project at MR-10 junction located by bypass is progressing rapidly. Excavation has started to build the lowest part of the flyover. This underground route is being built to connect Indore-Raghagarh Highway with MR-10. The target is to complete the Thi Layer flyover project by 2025.
Pillars of upper part also ready :
Pillar construction work for making Thi Leya flyover at MR-10 junction is also almost completed. The cable suspension system will rest on these pillars. This unique one and a half kilometer long flyover, NHAI is spending Rs 137 crore on construction.
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started the excavation from the service roads on both sides. The underground route being built for Indore-Raghagarh Highway will be about 30 meters long. After completion of excavation, concreting work will be done there. Officials say that currently only the service roads on both sides have been closed. When the excavation and construction work there is completed, then the service road will be opened for vehicles and excavation will be done on the main carriage way of the bypass. Efforts are being made to start this work before monsoon. With the construction of the underbridge, people traveling from MR-10 to Harda and Betul will get the facility to pass through the junction at an uninterrupted speed.
